The Salamatu Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing teacher training and establishing library/resource centers in less developed regions of the world. We sponsor workshops and provide a sustainable supply of educational materials for those centers.
Our projects are designed to empower communities and individuals by enhancing their access to educational resources. We strive to establish lasting partnerships between donors and beneficiary communities.
We also facilitate the training necessary to ensure self-sufficiency and to instill a sense of ownership. Our belief is that making these resources broadly available is an important step on the road to truly sustainable development.
